I know that most of you know this intuitively, but we will not be meeting Thursday, October 27th. You should all go down and kick the crap out of a Gator for the cause of liberty. Non-aggression is important, but let's face it: Gator fans totally started it first when they applied to UF. Go Dawgs!!!

Meeting Notes: October 20, 2005

Mark another night down in the history liberty. On October 20^th, the Libertarians of UGA met, but with a few less members (thanks to a certain gun-toting reporter…) We discussed the new website features, discussed lessons learned at The Advocates event, and even debated the larger points of term presidencies.

I would personally like to thank all those attending, and I need Tiago, Steven, Colin, and Daniel to send me their physical mailing addresses for The Advocates. They want to send copies of the speeches to us! (Now isn’t that nice? They blow me away with their hospitality.)

For those who check out the website, in the pictures section, we will soon have a link to a collection of our Advocates pictures. Stay tuned...

For those not familiar with blogs, or the whole movement, this will be very unexciting for you. For those who are really hip, this will be the coolest thing ever.

Here will be posts from officers, members, and emailers that the world can see in a second. You can download the blog from your computer, phone, RSS reader, and a host of other ways. Other users can comment on the blog, and we can even update this while on vacations and breaks.

For instance, today the Baltimore Tunnel was evacuated because of a terrorist threat and Hurricane Wilma is scarring the crap out of everyone. Can you see the power of this thing? If not, comment, if so comment. Just talk back!

I hope you enjoy this little weblog I created. I assume it will be extra helpful for those of you looking for meeting notes, and to look ahead to what officers are planning for the furure. The best thing about this service is the archiving of notes for generations in the future. We are a 21st century group, and technology is our friend. Let's embace it together shall we?
